I am Alex Couloumy, the founder of Couloumy Selection.

Growing up in the French countryside, I was surrounded by families deeply committed to crafting local products, preserving artisanal traditions, and respecting the land. This environment nurtured my appreciation for quality, craftsmanship, and the unique stories behind each product. Inspired by these values, I pursued specialized studies in wines and spirits at SupAgro Montpellier, where I developed both technical expertise and commercial skills.

My professional journey took me to iconic French regions such as Champagne, Cognac, and the Southwest, as well as to Montréal, Canada. In these regions, I had the privilege of working with renowned producers of premium wines and spirits, helping them introduce their products to emerging markets and building valuable industry partnerships along the way. 

Through these experiences, I came to appreciate the incredible diversity of exceptional wines and spirits, many of which remain underrepresented in global trade. This realization inspired me to establish Couloumy Selection, a company dedicated to connecting producers with importers and distributors, empowering them to expand into new markets. With a strong technical background, expertise in supply chain management, and a deep understanding of global sales strategies, I now offer my services to partners seeking to bridge European and South American trade.
